Fiscal Impact of a Recall to LAUSD
Los Alamitos Unified School District is financially responsible for recall costs, including signature verification. Despite claims this recall can be held in a general election, it won’t be. They never are. Do not accept false assurances.
Financial Impact Estimates:
Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board recall is estimated to cost $1,000,000
Boulder Valley Unified School District Board recall is estimated to cost $750,000
Lucia Mar Unified School District Board recall is estimated to cost $350,000
Morgan Hill Unified School District Board recall is estimated to cost $300,000
School Board Recall Failure Rate - High:
The success rate of school recall campaigns is 13%. 87% of school board recalls fail. A recall must have merit to have a chance. This recall lacks merit. Kids will be impacted. LAUSD pays for it, regardless.
